Our story...
Our company was born from our idea to start exporting used clothes to Central America. In 2008 when my business partner and I decided to embark on this venture, we began like most looking for a good supplier. We purchased our first container online in one of the first websites that popped out in Google without knowing the ins and outs of the business. Thinking, "hey, it is the first listing in Google", we assumed all would be OK and of course, it was not. From getting the merchandise shipped a month and a half after we had paid, to receiving total junk. Everything went absolutely wrong, including the logistics and document handling. To make a long story short, we took a big loss on our first attempt and wasted time. Not wanting for this to repeat, we decided to visit multiple suppliers from big to small, to inspect their operation and the quality of the clothes they were working with. We also met with various freight forwarders till we felt comfortable with the team of people we wanted to work with and decided to make our 2nd purchase. Everything went better this time around and we recouped the loss we made on our first online purchase. Since establishing a relationship with a supplier (which we still work with today) and our new freight forward we became an actual business. Over the years as we outgrew our 1 supplier's monthly limit and now with the experience of knowing exactly what to look for, we kept searching for additional suppliers to meet our growth needs. Sixty plus supplier visits all over the U.S. and years later we narrowed our supplier list to four. We went from exporting 1 container a month to 14. Business is great!
As we grew, our suppliers did too and so we started brokering and servicing clients all over the world but mainly Central America, the Carribean and some countries in Africa. Today, we have created a network that takes the headaches we endured in our 15-year trajectory and offer it to customers around the world. Customer purchase from us only merchandise already in inventory and we handle everything all the way to the customers country's port of choice. We handle everything for you!
